Contributions made to BFHF are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please note that, in strict conformance with IRS guidelines, BFHF does not accept contributions that are earmarked or required to be distributed to Benjamin Franklin House or any other organization. The Directors of BFHF have complete discretion and control over the ultimate disposition of any contributions received by the organization. While donors may suggest that their gifts be used for a specific purpose, these requests are non-binding on BFHF. This is to help ensure that gifts made to BFHF are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and that BFHF fulfills its duties and obligations as a U.S. tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
